So if I haven’t mentioned this before, I’ve become very interested in the way our bodies react to the shit we do to ourselves. If I could go back and pick up nutri-sci as a second major, I would. But for now, I’ve been training and eating to get healthier. It’s working because I feel a lot better. I’m even reluctant to drink nowadays. Though I do.
Yesterday during training, my stomach started to cave, but I pressed on and finished. Afterward, my body crashed like it never had before. I walked home wobbly and chugged protein. It’s not like I’m starving myself; on the contrary, I ate multiple meals till I was very full that entire day. But apparently my protein-carb ratio is too off and I am just not taking in enough calories (even though I get full? WTF).
I have so much more to learn. And I have to adjust my diet so I don’t burn out from training.
