Got asked out by someone I was semi-involved with earlier last semester. Meanwhile, my neighbor was having sex and we could hear it. Awkward. Didn’t know how to tell him that I’ve been with someone else since November and would readily do it again- as in tomorrow, not because we have much to say to each other, but because it’s fun. Didn’t really occur to me. Tried to explain my lack of emotion about everything. Might have been misleadingly encouraging because I’m not so good at rejection.
If I could freeze time and go about it differently, I think I would.
